Lovely practice set of Uilleann Pipes made by Charles Roberts (Sligo). I bought these for a student to learn on and liked them so much I kept them for myself. Took these busking around Europe last summer when I didn’t want to take my full set and they did very well in the heat. Chanter is nice, skinny and responsive. Easy to play and great for someone starting out who wants to hit the ground running.
Set is ebony, brass and imitation ivory. High C key. The imitation ivory appears to have slight cracks in places (as is usual) but nothing too bad. Bag and bellows are airtight and also with original velvet cover. Case included is sturdy and fits the set well. Will include original Roberts reed too. Feel free to ask me any questions.
