This is a lovely blackwood "D" Patrick Olwell "Pratten" flute. It is about ten years old. It is in perfect condition and plays beautifully. It has a big, open sound and is in perfect tune.

It will come in a handmade soft deer-skin leather rollup case, lined with real sheepskin. A very limited number of these special cases were made by Patrick Olwell over fifteen years ago. They are lovely, protective, and very hard to find. He bought the leather and had the cases made for him while he was in Ecuador. I will be happy to sell the flute without the case, or offer it with a cheap plastic hard case- in which case I will lower the price.

I am asking $1,500 for flute and case. I will pay the shipping. If you don't like it I will accept a return – in which case I offer full refund less shipping.

Note to all: Please do not serially piggyback new items onto your own topics once the original item, sold or not, has been inventoried in its title. We are not going to accommodate and change the title for you. Once a transaction is completed or expired, the topic is intended to go, as-is, to Sold and Old. As you can see, here normal procedure would appear to have been disrupted. To prevent that - be it the actual case or merely calling attention to another sale elsewhere, and to forestall confusion on the buyer's part (in this case, there is a notable price difference between the above mention and the actual post making the sale) - if you have a new item for sale, simply start a new topic and leave it at that. If for whatever reason you still feel you must piggyback with mention of a new item, then be clear and say that it is to call attention to another, separate thread out there. Thank you. - Mod
