Last month I posted a similar thread about look for a flute in D for around $800 or less. I would consider any material (wood, delrin, etc.) and any type (no slide, slide, R&R, Pratten, etc). My location is in the USA, and I'd rather not deal with backwood importing, unless it's a really killer instrument.
Instead of spamming everyone who previously messaged me, I thought I might post again here to see what might be available before placing an order with a maker. Last month I was looking for a couple different types of instruments, and I thought I had found a banjo locally that I wanted to purchase, but I ended up holding off, so I'm back on the search for a flute!
