Antique Cocuswood 8 key flute with new head joint

Post by Jon C. »

I am selling a anon. unstamped R&R design antique flute with nickel rings and keys, plays down to C clear strong tone. I think might have been made in Wylde's shop, I have seen enough of them over the years, has the same design foot. I made a new cocuswood unlined head joint for it, giving it a deeper chimney. Plays great at A=440hz.
You can see by the well worn holes, it was a much loved and used flute, always a good sign!

"I love the flute because it's the one instrument in the world where you can feel your own breath. I can feel my breath with my fingers. It's as if I'm speaking from my soul..."
