I have dropped this item down to £1850 , to buy a new flute they are £2200 and you have to wait 9 months.

This flute is excellent condition and very rarely even played.

------------------

Beautiful Irish flute made by Master Flute Maker Glen Watson (Galway City).

This Blackwood 6 Key Flute has a great tone and is very easy to play. Its very much in tune up and down the octave and projects very well. It has a good solid tone and easily facilitates a number of styles from the Belfast Style to a more Matt Molloy type of Style.

It’s quite easy to play and has a nice chirpy sound, it’s great for playing in sessions as it seem to cut through very nicely.
The Key work is exceptional; my opinion is that Watson has leaned heavily from Mike Grinter’s key work as they are virtual identical (to my eyes).
It’s around 3 years old but has been rarely played. I bought it after reading Harry Bradley’s glowing recommendation of Glens work. I’m letting it go now as I need the dosh.

(I just oiled the flute before the photos were taken.)

I'm selling this along with a Fantastic Hard Case I purchased from Patrick Olwell.

I am based in Belfast if you'd like to call by to see it, else I can send sound samples.

Interested in this flute and you don't want to wait 9 to 10 months?
Contact me today (at this discounted price) before it goes!

Hey guys I have dropped the price of this flute to £1850.
To buy a six key new would be £2200
Also this flute is also around 4 years old so it's exempt from and any wood taffits.
Thanks

Tell us something.: I'm a fiddler and, latterly, a fluter. I love the flute. I wish I'd always played it. I love the whistle as well. I'm blessed in having really lovely instruments for all of my musical interests.
Location: Unimportant island off the great mainland of Europe

I have dropped this down to £1700 (ono) offer now.

Bear in mine that's £500 less! than ordering a new one (and having to wait for 9 months).

This is a great flute, almost perfect condition (apart from a few little marks from setting it down and picking it up).

If your interested let me know.

Cheers

I have added a slide show of photos and Brendan Mulholland playing this flute here....

Brendan thought this was a very nice flute with a great sound and with exceptional key work.
