Get Well Soon, Nano!

Post by MTGuru »

Nanohedron, our dear friend, fellow Moderator extraordinaire, and Chiffboard philosopher, will be enjoying a lovely vacation in the University of Minnesota hospital for the next few days, thanks to a burst appendix.

It was a very close call. But it seems that they caught the infection in time. Emergency operation on Monday, and he'll be in hospital for post-op recovery for at least the next few days. He sounds like he's in good spirits under the circumstances. I'm betting it's the medication.

So here's wishing Jason all our best wishes for a speedy recovery! Get well soon, my friend. We're thinking of you.

The rest of you all can hold onto your applications for replacement Moderator for a while longer.

Bet he's getting morphine, probably won't share. So did they go in through his belly button or is he going to have a scar? I find scars are a great conversation starter.

Lucky Duck! And emergency surgery at that! My family has a tradition of getting the person who has major surgery a present of their choosing. I could get a saxophone or a tenor bowed psaltry out of something like that. But no, my appendix has to be fine and dandy.

Wishing Jason the best. I hope he gets a present.
