The answers to all these questions and more have one thing in common: They depend on where you are located.

The Mods have noticed a tendency for both new (and some old) users to leave the Location field in your personal Profile blank. We don't enforce filling it in as mandatory. But the Chiffboard is an international community; and like Waldo, knowing where in the world you are can be a useful and helpful piece of information to other members, and save a lot of unnecessary guesswork.

So please, newer Chiffers especially, take a moment to go to your Profile page and fill in your Location.

Sadly (or not) I did not need the video to know what you were referring to. In fact, every time see the word Oklahoma, I sing that song just like that. And my kids are 19 and 16!!

I've always made a point of letting people know where I am. Enough info to hit me with a satelite mounted lazer - and then saying outrageously lefty provocative stuff online to see if anyone does. So far - no grief - and I've been doing it for years
