A while ago it became apparent that posting ABCs without any markup didn't exactly work as intended.
I've added an <font color="#ff0000">[abc]</font> tag to the board. I'm still rubbing my hands together in glee over its potential niftiness. When you go to post ABC, just enclose them in tags like so:
<pre>
<font color="#ff0000">[abc]</font>
T:Lafferty's
C:Sean Ryan
R:reel
D:Kevin Burke & Micheal O'Donnell.
Zhn-reel-41
Q:400
M:C|
K:Edor

<font color="#ff0000">[/abc]</font>
</pre>
and not only will the ABC appear correctly, there will be a link at the bottom which when followed will give you a GIF, PDF, or MIDI rendering of the tune, via the ABC Convert-o-Matic at <a href="http://concertina.net/">Concertina.net</a>!
I've posted the above ABC in the whistle group in the topic "New ABC Feature Demo (Lafferty's Reel)", so you can see how it looks and works.
Big thanks to Paul Schwartz of Concertina.net for the Convert-o-matic and for letting us link to it directly.
