RECOVERED: Chris Wilkes lefthanded 8 key flute, Drumshanbo

A lefthanded Chris Wilkes 8 key flute has been stolen from a chip shop during the John Mooney Festival (Drumshanbo), Ireland:

Would everyone please be on lookout for a Chris Wilkes eight key black wood flute made for left hand player, it was stolen from chip shop in Drumshambo during John Mooney festival. Any info on whereabouts would be gratefully received by its owner. Note: Other instruments were stolen but have since been recovered.

Anthony got his flute back. The same thief took the concertina and fiddle.

Anthony’s flute has now been recovered. Seemingly it was taken by the same buck who took the fiddle and concertina.thanks to all for getting word out . All is well that ends well but there is lesson to learned by all of us:
Stay vigilant, ensure instruments are uniquely identifiable and get word out quickly in event of loss.
