Stolen Cajun accordion from Bay Area

A place for our musicians to post information about instruments lost, stolen, or otherwise missing.
Forum rules
This is the C&F-wide forum for posting notices of any instruments which have been lost or stolen, or have gone missing.

Titles should include at least the type of instrument (flute, fiddle, etc.), the place of disappearance, and the nature of the loss.

Example: Stolen: Generation D whistle in Timbuktu

Reports linked from other sources or internet sites should include the basic information in addition to just the link.

In order to limit cross-posting, and to keep reporting and information centralized in one place, a post linking to a notice here (but not a copy) may be posted in ONE other C&F forum, typically the forum of the instrument involved.

Of course, follow-up posts to announce found or recovered instruments are always welcome!

Thanks - Your ChiffCo Management

Stolen Cajun accordion from Bay Area

Post by The Weekenders »

Hi. I don't even know this guy, but I am posting it, from the Harmony Folksite here in the SF Bay Area:

Hi Folks,

Andrew Carriere's accordion was stolen from his car on Sat. night,
Feb. 22, in the Oakland/Alameda area. We're
putting the word out in case someone might see or hear anything about
it. It's a Cajun accordion, 10 button, diatonic, tuned in the key of
C. The words "Prairie Ronde" and "Andrew Carriere" are engraved on
the face plate. The wood is light mahogany. It has pearl buttons. It
was in a black, zippered nylon case, with Andrew's name on the front.
Inside one of the pockets was a Shure microphone pickup.

Andrew is offering a substantial reward. If anybody has any
information please call him at 510-846-0521 or reply to Marty Jara: martyljara@gmail.com
.
How do you prepare for the end of the world?
