greetings everyones...this is my first post on this forum,i am so excited to be able to speack whit quena flute enthousiasts!!!sorry in advance for my english righting mistakes understand i am mosthly french.yesterday i bought a very nice wood quena whit bone mouth piece got home whit it played for 40 minutes went to eat supper and when i came back to play the bones mouth piece had splitted!!!!so today i went back to the shop and happily althought there whas no garranty they exchanged the flute for a full boned quena but i payed the diffents since it whas more expensive then the other one.But now im scared to play it....here are my questions

did i do something wrong whit the previous one or perhaps ist a default in the graine of the wood.

how do i care for a full bone quena to ensure its longevity

i know a flute on the floor is a flute no more but what are the does and dont.
