Quena fingering guide?

Post by MaxFlute »

Ahoy there, anyone know of any good online fingering guides/pdf tutor books for the Quena?
I have been blagging my way on Quenas for quite a while now, but now I have some nice new ones I plan to work at them seriously and with the correct fingering!!....

I don't know about the third octave, but i know their respond exactly as the tin whistle in the first two octaves. (same principles)

The thumb hole is pretty much useless for those two octaves, (you can do the 2nd octave G releasing it, but it won't be in a precise tuning.

If you have a standart quena, it is in G, that means it only has F#. So, well.
