My first Frula! :D

Post by HunterGatherer »

Hi everyone,

6 weeks ago I ordered a D frula, and it's just arrived!( :D :D :D :D )

This is it here: http://souve-nirs.shopmania.biz/kupi/pr ... cena-23279

Does anyone know of any online sheet music that can be used for the frula?
And any tips for being able to produce a note, and not a squeak?

Thanks!!

HunterGatherer.

Looks nice :)

Is this an end blown instrument, where you blow across an edge instead of through a fipple? If so, then you may find some tips if you search for information about playing quena.

Thanks, Gregwhistle!
No, it has a fipple like a tinwhistle, just placed differently. Thanks for the advice though!
