I've been playing didgeridoo for several years and did teach the basic to several people, and from my point of view the best advise is to learn the circular breathing by playing directly the instrument. I've started with a thick cardboard tube (daily for 1 or 2 hours) with very small bore diameter, otherwise you can use a piece of pvc or abs.
However that's only my personal experience with it !
