Pibgorn lessons?

I can't seem to locate pibgorn instruction anywhere on the internet.

Not even a fingering chart, which seems odd.

Is all the material in Welsh, perhaps?

Check out http://www.pibgorn.co.uk

The pibgorn is very diatonic, usually in D, with the occaisional accidental manageable with careful half-holing or cross-fingering. It just plays a straight D major scale by opening each hole in turn, like a whistle, but with a thumb-hole for the top D. That's it, no second octave or overblowing. Some instruments have an extra low C (or C#) under the little finger of the right hand.

Hope this helps :)

[Thread revival - Mod]

Gafin Morgan's standard pibgorn is in the key of D. He lists the scale as D, E, F#, G, A, B, C#, D or Bragod tuning C, D, Eb, F, G, A, Bb, C. I received an instruction book when I bought an instrument from him; you might contact him to see if it's available separately.

BTW, Jem Hammond just posted some sheet music on the Pibgorn Facebook page.
