I actually got one custom made with 10 rods, which fits all my wood recorders up to alto, and one tenor (my other tenor is harder to play, so it's set aside). Most of the good stands I see are well over $100, and they usually only hold the standard number of instruments (at most, 6). The owner of this Etsy shop, Bobby, actually mostly makes stands for Native American flutes, but I asked him to make a 10 peg one with 5 pegs at 8" long 1/4" diameter and 5 pegs at 6" long 3/16" diameter. These work for my sopranino up to alto, plus whistles.

I'll have to ask him to make one with 5/16" dowels for my tenors. I might get a smaller, 3 peg stand for that. And they are very solid and basic. I love mine and love that I didn't have to spend too much.
