Two recordings of my NAFs

Post by ChromeLibrarian »

Recordings of two original pieces.

The first one I did for my wife just before we got married.

Twice a year, a group of us get together at a camping area out in the mountains. After dark, we gather around the camp fire and play music. The second place is my impression of the late night, just before we go to bed.

In each case, the flute track was recorded on a Canon S3 digital camera, then fed into the computer. I used Audacity to do the rest of the work. Now, I have a Roland Microcube to hook to my computer to do recording.

The flute in the first recording is a Silverwolf flute in F#. The Drone flute is also a Silverwolf flute in C#. The sound effects come from Freesound Project

Those were both pretty. After getting all chilled out by the first recording, the stunning harmonies that start the second recording were completely unexpected. You need a third recording between the two. Maybe just a whole CD. Get to work. Thanks.

How about I post a piece I put together for Halloween last year, I think...

It's not really between the two others, but I like it...
