Wikipedia: Nohkan

Post by I.D.10-t »

I am working to improve a Wikipedia stub on the Nohkan flute. (It was only one sentence long.)

Nohkan

So far I have done a real hatchet job on the page, and will be trying to improve it. Most of the information I have is within the links that are on the page. The best is the link "The Nohkan: Its Construction and Music" but it leads to a restricted page, and I don't think everyone can access the PDF.

Anyway, any suggestions, rewording, additions, etc. would be appreciated.

I also do a great deal of writing about woodwinds at Wikipedia. Nice to see someone else contribute, Thanks!
I suggest starting at "The Japanese Flute Homeage"

And the specific page on the Nohkan Flute.

Here is a You Tube clip of Nohkan Flute music.
