Hey folks -
There's been a thread in the piping forum lately showing beautiful pictures of everyones pipes.
At Rob Forkner's (Metloef Irish Drums) suggestion I am starting a new thread in which to post pictures of the flutes owned by the denizens of this forum.
Unfortunately, my brother has left and taken his superb digital camera with him, so I can't take any good pictures of my Olwell (unkeyed blackwood), but I do have two nice pictures of Rob's Gilles LeHart flute that he asked me to post here:

So, with no further ado, here are two smoking hot, totally exclusive pictures of the flute - sexy, black, oiled and resplendant in all it's naked glory.

The condition of Rob's Lehart really does look like lichen.

I assume that's almond oil?

JessieK, can you tell us about the center row?
Mainly from the keyed one in the center

Thanks, eilam.

Jessie...your pic is sort of like a flute orgy!

(were I technologically impaired, I'd give you all a photo of The Triple Threat: Olwell D Bamboo, M&E Split Emboucher, and Olwell Blackwood keyless D...this is all I will need for this life...)

Keep the porno, er I mean photos coming...

How am I going to do this. 10 months until my Lehart is done. Please no more pictures of Leharts. Sins of thought are now punishable in this country.

Well, I guess I'm out then. Of course, mine looks kind of funky now anyway - I've ripped off one of the keys and the copper rings are parti-colored now, since some parts are tarnished and others are buffed clean by my shoulder and fingers. Kinda makes the thing look like a prop from "Blade Runner".

Maybe it would be good for me to see one that is a little funky JH. And besides Blade Runner is one of my all time favorite movies.

I'll see what I can do. Maybe I'll work a little papier-mache unicorn in there somewhere just to complete the effect.

This is my boxwood flute, R&R style, made by Wolf & Co., London, c. 1840, and refurbished by Patrick Olwell last fall.
