Happy New Year fellow Chiff and Fipplers, here's a link to a short TV clip of a new trio called "The Teetotalers" featuring Myself, Martin Hayes and John Doyle. We'll be doing some gigs in the U.S. In May and I'll post details at a later date. Really looking forward to hitting the road with these guys so hopefully catch you somewhere.

Hi Kevin, thanks for the update. Enjoyed chatting here in San Diego last October (and encouraging you to post here).

That's quite a power trio you've assembled. You guys should be touring with Cream or Led Zep. :P Cheers!

Very nice. Sound and video.

In the second tune, how does the violinist make that anchor not squawk? Is it a 2 string thing?

Might be hard to catch, but the presenter actually announces them at the beginning:

Kevin, that's lovely, magical stuff.

Will you three be coming around to Connecticut?

Best wishes,
Jerry

Hi Jerry,
Definitely playing in Connecticut in May. I'm pretty sure it's back in West Hartford where you saw Lunasa last year.

Hope your keeping well.

Hi Chris, we're hoping to get in to the studio after our stint around the States in May.

In the meantime I've just finished a new solo CD with John Doyle which will be available in a couple of weeks time.

It's called "Carrying the Tune" and features 14 tracks of mainly Eb flute and C flute sets mixed with various whistle bits too.

Glad you like the Teetotalers,

Cheers,

Kev

This is great news. My girls will be delighted to see you again. I'm also hoping to get away by myself in March to see you with Lunasa in Falmouth. You're a busy man!

Yes, all's well here.

Best wishes,
Jerry

Wow Kevin, great news, both on the new album with John and the upcoming album with you, John and Martin together. I'm still totally in love with your album together with Cillian. I told you then that it was an instant classic and I meant it.
