Hi guys, i have recently bought a Casey Burns blackwood keyless flute sounds amazing, so I am selling my Glenluce one. Its got 6 keys and is in African Blackwood and a case. Im not going to lie and say it is great cos i couldnt play it, hence why i bought a keyless one from Casey. I purchased the Glenluce Pratten style for £299, and selling it for between £40 and £70 its hardly been used and would make a great flute for someone starting out (obviously not me cos i couldnt play it ha ha!) or who wants a cheap practice flute.

I also have a Rosewood D flute keyless 8 hole, selling for £20 was £79. I would say they were both ok to practice with but i decided to invest in a proper flute. If anyone is interested the listing is on ebay. Thanks.

Zoe

Hi Zoe, welcome. And please include a link to your eBay item. Thanks - Mod.

All today's Google references to Glenluce flutes show them to be Pakistani.

As they have ever been, and as I thought up to this point was common knowledge after all we've discussed in this forum. But in all fairness one can't really be expected to catch everything, so it's worth pointing out any time, to be sure.

At least our OP has been up-front enough in her post about their quality, and I give her that.
