recordings for Timber tutor book

hi,

so i have the Timber: The Flute Tutor book by Fintan Vallely (Mel Bay), but can't seem to find anyone that sells the recordings that went with it originally (seems to have been on cassette and never got transfered over to cd). Does anyone know where i can get them? (preferably mp3s?)

Good luck with that. I tried to find them a few years back and couldn't.

Have you tried asking Fintan himself through his website ? Contact him and ask him. If he can't help, ask him if it's OK for Kenny in Aberdeen to make you a copy from the cassette tape which I have. If he says that's OK, I'll make you a copy as a series of MP3 files and send them to you.
Obviously I'm not going to do this if Fintan has copies for sale in some format.

Looks like he has a new web site from last time I checked. He's got a link to buy a CD for it but the link looks a little wonky. When I try to get just the CD, it looks like it adds the book and CD to the shopping cart not just the CD.

i can't seem to get the buttons to work either; although it's possible maybe he's just changed his prices? the bottom button sends me straight to paypal, which is weird...

I just heard back from Fintan Vallely. He answered quick!

He said he can't get it changed but he can take a paypal payment directly and get the CD shipped out to me.
I'd say drop him an email.

i also got an email response in less than 10 minutes; i paid via paypal--it was 8.5 euro to ship to the states and he says he'll get it out in the mail to me tomorrow.
