problem is, paul, it's all the tunes he knows. :lol:

obviously kidding.

just goes to show he's a perfectionist just as G.Shannon was for his first recording.

I'd been listening to some of the tracks for a couple years now -- tom was good enough to have shared a couple -- and the finger work and expression is simply amazing. And his own compositions are top-notch.

Just received and listened to my copy. This is an excellent, excellent CD. Such lovely tone, too, Tom - just the sort of sound I am looking for.

tom, thank you so much for the quick delivery of the CD ! i love it, and i really like your take on some tunes that i know. great CD and one that will play over and over for the next month....so many great new tunes to learn !

just pointing out to the pointy heads that there are some exceptionally good antique flutes out there.

Got my copy last week and it's been on the ipod,in the house and in the car since.
Congrats Tom on a wonderful CD, your playing is phenomenal and full of great twists and turns that are truly McElvogue classics.

Magic stuff altogether.
