Re: Posting clips
Audio clip done recently partly as a teaching aid, so...... The tune is one I have "session-known" (i.e. did not "have" properly in all details!) to busk along to for years, but it has come up a few times recently so I decided to get it properly under my belt......
I start it off maybe a bit slower than normal, keep it very plain 1st time through, then develop the finger articulation/ornamentation a bit and finally add some simple variation. The dots are here (I would probably tend to start with an anacrusis from F# normally, but for the demo I played it without the up-beat as per the dots.)
A Fig for a Kiss (slip jig)
(BTW, the "W" in the file title is just tell me I was using my Chris Wilkes head on the flute.)

Re: Posting clips
Here's another one (well, two....) - the same tune (an unusual setting of Ty Coch Caerdydd, the Welsh version of Red House, a Playford tune):
on 8-key simple system flute (my main R&R with Wilkes head) (three times through)
and
on a Rudall Carte Böhm system flute in Ebonite (only twice through and with more fluffs.....).
There are dots and information about the tune and its other settings here (on Facebook).

Re: Posting clips
A set I recorded earlier this month for my soondclood page;
A Pink Ivory H&Mc Rudall D copy was used for this track;
https://soundcloud.com/holmesflute/mcel ... m-may-2016
I have the first tune as "McElvogue's for obvious reasons, the second tune shows up as "Faddy Pahy's" in Tunepal but I seem to remember it as "Molly's Dream" from years & years ago... does anyone have any better information? I'd be grateful.
the rest of the tracks are here; https://soundcloud.com/holmesflute/sets/holmes-flute
