Not one for the casual use of the word awesome but the Sylvain Barou video in the last post is awesome in the true sense. Thanks for posting that Bran Ruz.

Fantastic stuff, the 'unnamed' slip jig at 7:30 is really nice.

Facebook video clip of delightful French fluter Anna Besson - she's a top-notch young professional classical player on both modern Böhm flute and baroque traverso as well as no slouch at trad Celtic stuff on an 8-keyer - check her out on YouTube (audio only) & on SoundCloud too..... some really gorgeous (non-trad) stuff there.

In this video she's playing (with some aplomb) a modern R&R-based 8-keyer by Sébastien Villoing.

Yeah, she's rather tasty! Listen to her Telemann, but also to the complete radio show recital which is on SoundCloud - and all her other posted tracks, really. Nothing disappoints and I'd say her playing both modern and on traverso is up there with some of the greats. Her sense of rhythm in all the dance-derived genres is spot on.

The FB clip wasn't posted by Anna but by someone else and got linked to me - sorry you can't see it - and I don't think there's anything I can do about that.

Link to TPA (Asturias local TV). El Club Musical "The Musical club", in the last episode I played with DRD, (flute-fiddle-guitar trio) for an hour aprox. The sound quality was better in TV but on inet is not too bad. I hope you enjoy the asturian music.

If you don't speak the asturian language, I recommend you skip the interview parts
