Currently I've managed to collect following flutes (going to reduce this to concentrate on the Olwell)
Olwell keyless D - my original proper flute - has a Bb body so keeping this
Olwell 6 key D - what I'm going to now concentrate on
Martin Doyle cocus D - keeping this because it's a beautiful sweet sound from the cocus/unlined head
Hamilton keyless D - it's a beautiful instrument but gets overlooked because of the olwell
Sam Murray 6 Key D - too tempting to pick up as so easy to fill and play - need to put it on the top shelf to make me play the Olwell

Tell us something.: I’ve been a musician all my life. My voice is an instrument and I have played many other types of instruments as well. At 63 years of age I decided to take up the Flute. I have a 10 year goal of playing on the stage at the Carnegie Hall. My teacher tells me I’m doing quite well for only six months in, but I also want to get other peoples opinions and helps. That’s why I’m here

Now at 639 videos - so putting it on shuffle on your phone or PC should give you a couple of hours of quality playing.

Steffen is a terrific flute player. I recommend checking out his album The Land's End Sessions (some tracks are available on youtube) as well as his band Deistch. I have the album Mittsommer sessions: it's great (mostly German folk music). They play a few tunes from this album in this video. Enjoy :)
