Uncle Sam was good to me this year and gave me over 500 hundred dollars back. And I've be looking to expand my flute collection with a nice high quality blackwood. I'am interested in getting a hamilton keyless D and its price tag is farely close to my tax refund. What do you guys think about this,is it a good flute or are their better ones out there. Also, do you guys know who long his waiting list is.

thanks for your comments

Darn good flute. Do a search of the messageboard archives for more info.

Tell us something.: You just slip out the back, Jack
Make a new plan, Stan
You don't need to be coy, Roy
Just get yourself free
Hop on the bus, Gus
You don't need to discuss much
Just drop off the key, Lee
And get yourself free

I agree with Chris, very nice flutes. Hard to believe how little Hammy charges for those things really.

Only way to find out for sure what the wait is would be to contact Hammy directly, other than that you'll find what you need in the archives, as Chris mentioned.

I'll be a third to offer praise to Hammy's work. Two of the folks at a session I attend own Hamilton flutes (one keyed, one unkeyed) and they sound beautiful, lots of volume and a big full sound. I doubt if you'll find a much better flute for the price. There's one somewhere in my future...

What do do with my tax return?
Your typo (to do vs do do) grabbed my attention only because my return was more refective of your topic as typed (do-do),

no flute for me.

Just to be clear... Uncle Sam is NOT good to you when you get money back at the end of the year. All that means is that you let Uncle Sam take too much money and use it interest free for most of the year. The smartest thing is when you have to pay just under the amount that gets penalized. This way YOU get that interest. This is a terrible enforced savings plan. If you need your savings enforced (and nothing wrong with that) there are many better ways to do it.
