No kidding. I bought my current and only flute on Ebay, and it sure wasn't cheap. It was a known maker of high reputation so I didn't feel like it was a major risk, except for the usual shipping drama and it arrived in good shape.benhall.1 wrote:Of course there are. If you do enough research, Ebay can be a good way to expand a search for something you're interested in, but you do have to know the market and the respected makers, and none of those flutes will be cheap.
