Ok guys-n-gals, I thought I had seen just about every kind of flute ever made, but here's a new one on me:

http://cvip.fresno.com/~js210/flute.htm

It's not simple system, it's absolutely not Boehm system, and it's...uh...somewhat visually challenged, but if the description is right, it just might play like a big dog.
Thought ya'll might enjoy this.

I think this thing was shown in either Woodwind Quarterly or the old Experimental Musical Instruments Magazine.

Visually, its... err... interesting? or something.
