Bamboo Flute MORAD

Ok. I fell for a flute from bamboo. It has a blowing notch at one end and is played like a shakahatchi.Do I blow across the notch? Help please. The wood feels very esoteric.

Vet Silimar. Iy has cut gut tound top and bottom. The page loaded but not the clip.Will investigate further. Thanks.
