Hi,
I'm thinking about ordering a keyless D flute from Hammy Hamilton. Unfortunately I never had an opportunity to try one. So if anyone could give me a short review about this flute, it would be easier to make my decision. Thanks,

From the Geezers Pleasers Topic...

i uploaded some mp3s of unaccompanied irish flute music at

Track 5 and maybe 6 are done on a Hammy Hamilton Flute. Says so right in the recording. They sound wonderful.

Looks like bil changed the directory name to phlute phest. He also added some tunes. There were only 9 there last time.
Click on this link and then on the phlute directory. The Bingham tunes are done on a Hammy Hamilton.

Just in case it wasn't clear from the previous post, Bil provided those mp3's. Don't know where he get's em but they're real gems. Some sound like they were recorded off RTE.

I THINK - and someone correct me if I'm wrong - Conal O'Grada plays a Hammy Hamilton flute. All I can say about that sound is, WOW!
