Hi,
I've never posted on the flute forum before, but I thought some of you might be able to help me. I'm considering learning the piccolo and found one at whistleshop.com. It's made of Pyrex glass. I was wondering if any of you have ever played this piccolo and if so, does it have a nice tone, is it easy to play? Here's a link to a picture of it: http://www.thewhistleshop.com/catalog/o ... l/hall.htm

Peace,
Sara

P.S.
Sorry, I messed up on the subject the first time, but I changed it.

They look lovely but I would be terrified of dropping it or chipping it.

A man named Hall makes "Crystal" flutes (piccolos)... the material actually being of pyrex.

By coincidence, there is quite discussion going on now about them on the Wooden Flute Digest. (Digest letter V-1150)

I'm going to try to send it to you as an E-mail attachment. (Hope it works!)

sorry it took me a while to reply back, I hadn't checked the flute forum in a while! I would be very afraid of dropping it or chipping it!

Mal,
I'll reply back to your private message tomorrow - sorry I haven't already!

Peace be the journey,
Sara
