I'll be in LA this weekend into next week. Any must-see musical happenings (other than NAMM)?
Anything Interesting in LA January 16-21, 2004?

Hi Jessie,
There is an open session at the Celtic Arts Center in North Hollywood (about 16 miles north of downtown) at 9 PM Monday nights:

Also, at Finn McCool's in Santa Monica on Sunday afternoon/evening:

I believe that its a closed session, but you might want to check with the leaders, they are nice folks.
I'm down in San Diego, and we have some nice sessions here on Tuesday and Sunday nights, but that's a bit of a long haul from L.A.
You might want to get in touch with Patrick D'Arcy, he lives up in the Valley, knows everyone in town:

If you get a chance, go visit McCabe's music in Santa Monica. Its a great music store:

Hope you have fun in L.A.
Cheers,
Michael
