Exceptionally OT: Looking for Boston area lodging asap

Post by Loren »

Please excuse the cross posting......

I find myself in the position of having to look for temporary housing in the Boston area on the spur of the moment, with limited funds available, naturally

So, if anyone has, or knows someone who has, a room they'd be willing to rent by the week, to 1 person with Dog, please contact me asap. I'm looking for something I get into immediately, and rent for at least the next week.

I will have limited on-line access over the next few days, so I am best contacted at 720-252-4863 (I hate to post a phone number on a public forum but......drastic times call for drastic measures.)

Thanks in advance,

Loren
P.S. Anywhere within reasonable driving distance to Boston/Brookline will work for me at this point, I'm not picky

there may be a few youth hostels around-- one might be above the IRISH EMBASSY pub near north station and there might also be some kind of rooming above the Green Briar pub in Brighton. Find the Irish Immigrant, A free newspaper/magazine found in most Irish pubs it may have listings in it.

My sisters travelled youth hostels around the Northeast a couple summers ago, and came home with some crazy stories! Definately worth a try!

Rich and Mary,

Thanks, I'll check the hostels (and look for that paper, Rich). The youth hostels I've tried in the past wouldn't allow Dogs, but perhaps I'll have better luck this time.

G., Training? Nah man, I've been potty trained for months now  Now shut up and don't Jinx me, the deal ain't done just yet......
