**Sept. Great Rocky Mountain Sessions info**

Post by Brian Lee »

We're looking at a tour of the western Rocky Mountain states in just under three weeks. The very tentative itinerary looks like this.

Sept. 12th Grand Junction/Clifton Colorado. Friends and music - might even make a full blown session out of it if we can get everyone out!

Sept. 13th the first ever "Colorado Uilleann Piper's Tionol" in Denver. Session after open to all I'm sure. Besides, after a day of nothing but pipes, I think ANYBODY would be praying for some other instruments to join in !

Sept. 14th Lander Wyoming. Badger hunting. Yep, we're gonna find you Tom, and we're gonna MAKE you teach us Thumper's Jig SLOWLY this time! :P Perhaps a bit of free climbing again if time and weather permit.

Monday should see us back in Salt Lake City where at least two of us will be longing for a decent nights rest.

If anyone has questions, or would like to add anything forgotten here, please feel free to contact me.

Brian~

I have to say I'm miffed at Brian for not advertising around here!
But I will be there for the session stuff.
If you've never met Brian, or the other pipers around here, you're in for a treat. Especially Eric Olson. Remember to ask him to sing the song about the fly. You'll roar.
see you then!

So David's in for the Saturday evening session - any other takers?!?! It'd be wonderful to have some more of the Colorado folks out to this one. The latest I've heard has it made out to be a decent sized gathering and a MIGHTY session!

Unless something should come up count me in. I might get a couple people from Fado. It depends on how big the space is.

Well, apparently it is NOT our Brian Cassidy for the Denver Tionol.
Hmmm....
Cassidy is having a house session that evening.
Tell me....where be the after-Tionol session on the 13th then?

A great time for all!
Long night of tunes and new friendships.
Brian, you're a fine player.....the solos on the pipes were terrific!
Hope you'll come back again.
And that's for bringing along your weary travelling concertina-whistling friend. She was a gem.
