Grey Larson and the Wild Beet

Post by Doirlinn »

I found a listing that Grey Larson used to run a session at a place called the Wild Beet in Bloomington, IN. It sounds like this was a great place (non-smoking, vegetarian restaurant/cafe/bar music central) but has now closed. Does anyone know where this session might have migrated? Or know anyone embedded in the Indy/Bloomington irish scene who might have other information?

Thanks

Last I heard, this session was going on at a Border's bookshop in Bloomington. There might be details on Grey's site, or as Kevin suggested above you could e-mail Grey.

I think it closed because they made it non-smoking. :)

Thanks for the replies - I'll drop him a note. Pity if you're right gcollins - Of course if Brad is also right that the session moved to Borders, that's certainly smokeless!

Grey Larsen's session

Post by greylarsen »

Hi.

Grey Larsen here. The session lives on. Now it is every Tuesday from 6:30 to 9:00 at the Uptown Cafe, 102 E. Kirkwood (just off the central courthouse square), Bloomington, IN, (812) 339-0900. Great place for a session, non-smoking, excellent food, Guiness and the like on tap. Come on over and have a tune.

Best,

Grey
