FS: Casey Burns African Blackwood Folk Flute with Offset Fingering
UPDATE: I mistakenly referred to the flute as made of African boxwood. I should have said African blackwood.
Corrected below.
----------
African blackwood Casey Burns folk flute with offset fingering, purchased new about 10 years ago (I'm the original owner). It has standard fingerhole distances, as described at https://www.caseyburnsflutes.com/ff.php.
Comes with a cloth carrying case and years of tender loving care
I'm parting with it because my other flutes have regular (non-offset) fingering, to which my fingers have become strongly accustomed.
Brand new these run for $500, plus $20 shipping for US customers.
I'm asking $350, plus $10 shipping for US customers. For Canadian or international addresses, shipping will cost more, but let's work together to find an amount we both think is reasonable. Accepting payment via Paypal or Venmo.
For some reason, I can't post this on the Used Instrument Exchange forum (not sure why). Could be because I appear to be a new member. I'm not; I joined years ago under "waltcamp45" but just opted to create a new account when I couldn't recall my old password and the forum's password reset functionality wasn't working as expected.

Curious about what African Boxwood is? African Blackwood or European Boxwood perhaps?
Best wishes.

Per https://www.caseyburnsflutes.com/ff.php, Casey's using either Turkish or African boxwood. I bought this a while ago, so I'm not sure what he was using then. My best guess is African boxwood.

From the OP's photos - obviously African BLACKWOOD. No boxwood was harmed in the making of that flute.

It will be mine, MINE!....maniacal laughter, etc. I have always liked what Casey does with boxwood.

Thanks to all who spotted my error. I've corrected the description to clarify that it's made of African blackwood.
Appreciated!

Jim's passing on this one, as he's looking for boxwood, not blackwood.
So this is still available. To add a little enticement, I'm dropping the asking price to $300 US in hopes you find this the perfect stocking stuffer.
