Well for sure that's why I got into playing the Irish flute, for the money! :D


I looked again and the Copley and the Ellis are more similar than I remembered, and neither is squared, so I described that wrong from memory.

So what makes them play differently for me is less clear. I keep the Copley around because I'm always learning and I might discover something in it that I'm not getting. Like I learn something about embouchure each time I switch between them.
