Looks as if no one has, or can:

I was exploring an alternative in 3D printed plastic and the results are encouraging. At this point however, I have other flute making directions that I wish to pursue and simply need to focus on my higher end queue, which has been expanding. Thus I am currently unsure if I will be rollng out a plastic version of this flute. If that happens that will occur in 2021 or 2022.

I tried to order one for him in October when he said he was going to start making them and he about chewed both of my ears off! I guess I am learning - I called him around 8AM Sunday morning and woked him up. I suppose it was 5 or 6 AM there. He never called me back. But I have never been treated with such rudeness.

Casey's Facebook posts (which are all public, I believe) indicate that he's definitely focused on the glass flute design after Claude Laurent's 19th century glass flutes, and seems really excited about it. I prefer wood flutes, but appreciate the spirit of innovation he's certainly exploring.

If you call me at 5 or 6 am you'll get to experience such rudeness again

As a natural night owl (got that from my mom) and someone who is for the time being disabled (I need new hips), a call at 5 or 6 AM is way past my bedtime as well as a long, long, looooooong trek to the phone. If you don't know someone's personal details, you shouldn't make pat assumptions that their condition or habits - beliefs, too - will match yours. Of all people, one would think that Charles should be acutely aware of this. :poke:

A maker is not a personal servant at your beck and call. They have lives, too, and that is no small thing.

That must have been an entertaining conversation though probably rather one-sided.
