Billy Miller - Woodwind Flutes

Post by scottie »

Does anyone know what happened to Billy Miller? He used to make some really nice 6 hole bamboo flutes in Floyd, Virginia USA. Not sure if he is still a live or not. I have tried to email him on a couple of occasions with no reply and I see his web site is on the internet, but not sure if orders are taken.

Same experience. The pity is he made good flutes at a reasonable price.

He sure did and they were all concert tuned. Excellent bamboo flutes. Erik the flutemaker is about the only other one but his prices are about twice as high but sound good on videos but do not have one yet. I think I will have to wait for one of his special sales. Wish I would have been interested when his new web site went up. He had an excellent special sale. Will just have to wait unless I can build my own.
