Hi
I'm after a flute in C made from either wood or delrin, preferably delrin but not too fussy.
Does anyone have any recommendations or even one for sale?
The one problem is that I need it quickly for a gig in December. I know I'm pushing my luck at such short notice but needs must.

I have set of 3/4 Preshaws in C that I'd sell or swap.

But
I need something for a xmas gig.

If they were D pipes I would be very interested.. But I think I will pass.

I have a nice "C" Tipple PVC flute with offset holes. Don't use it much since I just can't get used to the offset toneholes. Would be a very economical alternative with really lovely tone if you can handle the tonehole location.

Maybe I'm missing something here. If you have a D/C combo, then don't you already have a C flute available? Is the problem that you need both on stage at the same time for an easy switch? In that case, you could configure it as a C & perhaps pick yourself up (or borrow) a D flute locally more easily.

You're right I need both on stage at the same time, I can get away with the xmas gig with just the C flute but there's a few other things coming up where having both would be really handy.
Yes I could use the C flute and buy/borrow a D flute but I don't know anyone local that I could borrow a flute from so I'm looking at various options either buy a C or D flute and I'm leaning towards a delrin D for cost and availability reasons.

Thanks Jim, I did have a look and there's some nice flutes. Because of VAT import duty it makes some of my preferred options financially prohibitive.
