Hi,

Here's a clip of Jack Molloy (Great Nephew of Matt) playing a couple of jigs last week at the Fleadh in Drogheda, on a Delrin 'Two piece' model flute I made for him. I hope this is of interest to people here!

This model flute starts from £185 (plus shipping).

Cheers!

Sounds great. I like his style. Does anyone know the name of the tunes?

Thanks for posting!

Thanks Paddler!
The two jigs are ''The Spiders Web' & 'Boys of the town', coincidentally the first two jigs on Matt Molloy's latest cd ''Back to the island'.

Good to meet you in Drumshanbo recently, Damian. By remarkable coincidence, the very next day, in my flute class, I was sat next to a young girl who was playing one of your flutes. She didn't know you were in town and had bought it some months previously. I'm not sure she had even met you.

Likewise benhall.1! Drumshanbo was a great week, I sat in a couple of Eb sessions that were just incredible, absolutely top class & very flute driven. I met a girl (from Japan, I think) who was in John Wynne's class who said there was a girl there with one of my flutes, but unfortunately I didn't bump into her. There's always next year!
