I'll take ten of them. I like the 99 cents.

I'm sure it's a wonderful flute, and the gold is a nice complementary color with the brown cocus. But man, you'd need some serious cojones to bring something like that to a session.
:o

I have trouble enough feeling "over dressed" bringing a flute with 8 silver keys to a session, because it suggests I actually know what I'm doing.

I don't suppose one would be playing out with it much.

Some of you might have seen on Facebook that this was my friend and film maker Jem Moore's main flute. He found it while we were filming The Keymaster. Last year he had triple bypass surgery and shared on the Keymaster Facebook page that he is selling to knock out the rest of his medical bills. Really tough for him to let go of this flute. This was his main flute he took with him everywhere. Thanks for posting it here. Would love to find a home for it where it will get played a ton.

Blayne, thanks for that update and letting us know it was played. I hope it sells soon and helps the original owner.

Certainly puts things in a new light, especially as Jem is something of a treasure.
I've learned so much about flutes and their history from him. Glad he's well.

25 years ago I had the good fortune to play
it’s twin. If the one now for sale plays anything
like the other then there are two gems!
Actually the one that I played had a
matching Eb body that was the
nicest flute that I’ve ever played.

Wisdom is not truth.
Truth is not beauty. Beauty is not love.
Love is not music. Music is the best.

I have a keyed Olwell in Eb (the one I dubbed "God's flute" on the documentary) and it is indeed that, so I will agree wholeheartedly that his Eb flutes are indeed stupendous (though mine is with just plain ole silver keys....ho-hum)
