Hello all,
Just bought a Fabio di Natalie Rudal model flute 2nd hand without playing it. Heard a clip of it playing and liked it plus his baroque flutes look top notch so I felt comfortable buying the flute. Still waiting on shipping though.
Anyone have any thoughts on this maker, and/or more specifically his irish models?
thanks

- Tell us something.: in two words, Rudall & Rose. but since a minimum of 100 characters is required, I should list a number of makers I found extremely interesting… I don't even know how much are 100 characters...

Re: Questions about flute maker "Fabio di Natalie"
Hi,
I've met him briefly years ago (2009?), his R&R model was recently new/prototype.
Imho it was a nice solid flute at that time with good chance of improvement.
Anyway Fabio Di Natale is not an improvised flute maker but a solid professionist with
very good skills in early flute making: I bet you have done a good deal.
I'll looking forward for your comments when the flute will be in your possession.
Enjoy

- Tell us something.: Mostly a whistle player but I am looking to start flute soon. I have made a few PVC ones but can never get the tunning right!

So I got the flute! I like it. It's a bit more mellow and sweeter than I expected, you can really tell the maker primarily makes baroque flutes or at least that's how it feels. But that being said it still can hold up in a session. I really enjoy it. It looks nice as doesn't take a lot of air the tone is so smooth!
