Cites II
Have I heard rumors that Cites II rules may be changing for small musical instruments? Anyone know anything new?

Re: Cites II
Here's the most recent information I could find:
https://www.namm.org/issues-and-advocac ... ance/cites
Summary: there is a proposal on the docket for a meeting in May 2019 to exempt finished musical instruments, and finished parts and accessories for musical instruments, made of Appendix II Dalbergia species. This would include our African blackwood flutes and pipes. If accepted it, would go into effect sometime next Summer.

Re: Cites II
Thanks. Some of the flutes that are currently captive in their Continents and Zones may be allowed to enter the world wide market again. Wouldn't that be nice!
