The House of Musical Traditions in Takoma Park, MD has an awesome Hammy Hamilton flute for sale. I have been playing it numerous times now and have been drooling over it for the past few weeks. But already owning a great Olwell flute there is simply no point in acquiring this instrument. However, I wanted to let you guys know: https://hmtrad.com/collections/wind-ins ... flute-used
It has a great tone, a bit raw and growly. But also a very sweet voice. Very responsive. Big finger holes, flattened body. In perfect condition. It came from an estate sale. The son of a local guy (apparently instrument collector) who passed away, sold his father's collection to the House of Musical Traditions.
As I said: just saying' I had never played a Hammy before and was literally blown away.
all best
