Tell us something.: Just recently I’ve begun playing a transverse flute. I’m wanting to learn more about simple system flutes and playing.

Hi Folks,
I've been checking this forum once in a while in the past and have now decided to actually join. I've a been playing NAF and rimblowns for a number of years. A couple of years ago I purchased one of George Tortorelli's bamboo transverse minor pentatonic flutes and have had fun with it. More recently I started playing one of his flutes in D major and have begun trying to learn a little bit of ITM. Next up is purchasing a flute with conical bore, etc. I still love playing my flutes from the Southwest of the USA, but am wanting to expand.

Other aspects about me in one sentence.

I'm a jewelry making, fly tying, fly fishing, beer making, beer drinking, flute making, flute playing, retired engineer who's a husband, father, and grandfather.

Chris
