Humidifying options for flute case

I’m curious what options those of you living in dry areas use for humidifying your flute while in the case.

I am in the desert—not a great place for wood instruments—and keep them in a Rubbermaid with Humistats and a hygrometer when at home, which keeps them right around 50%.

I’m looking for options for the case when I’m on the go. Has anyone tried the Boveda packs? They look like an interesting possibility with no chance of leakage like keeping a Humistat in the case.

Thanks,
Ryne

I just use a Humistat (model 1 for flutes, model 3 for guitar). Little tough to fit the Boveda in many flute cases. Guitar forum people don't seem to be having any problems of leaking with the new, leak-resistant bags (Boveda/Planet Waves/D'Addario Humidipak).

The humistat model 1 works great for me. I've never had one leak. They are about the size of a chapstick so they fit nicely in my cases.
