Tell us something.: I've been playing Irish flute and whistles since January 2016. It's been a great departure from percussion, which has been my primary form of musicianship since I was a boy.

Anyone have a Martin Doyle?

Post by John Driscoll »

I'm in SE Michigan, and I'd love to have a chance to try a Martin Doyle flute. Are there any Doyle players near me who'd be willing to get together to play?

Or, are there any extra-generous folks out there who'd be willing to send me their flute to try for a few days? I'd be happy to cover postage, of course.

I currently play a keyless McGee Rudall Perfected, half lined head. Wondering how that would compare to an all-wood Doyle.

Cheers,
John
