OMG. I had a ton of those, myself. They made for fun reading, didn't they. :)
Damn Straight: Ogami Itto took care of those pesky Tokugawa Ninja and Komuso monks.
And the spring-loaded technology of it all! The Baby Carriage of Death was a nice touch.

Haven't seen those, yet. I was afraid of being disappointed, but on your say-so, I'll have a look.

You may dig them, or not. They are very much like the books: Little dialog, very graphic and they stick extremely close to the story line and even scenes from the books. Also, they are quite old now, but that’s part of the charm, in a way.

One problem is that the movies were meant to be watched in a particular order and the story makes little sense if you watch them in a different order. Finally, it was assumed for the purpose of the movies (I think) that people would have a good knowledge of the books, so if you try to watch with someone who is unfamiliar.....fuggedaboutit.

Listed on Netflix as Lone Wolf and Cub: The Films (1972-1974)
Not to be confused with the TV series, which I haven’t seen.

Pfft. I'm in it for the action. I pay the story line no more heed than I do with the Star Wars franchise.

Oh, dear. Netflix. I'll have to find another route. Oh, well...business as usual.

I'm sure I have no earthly idea what you're talking about. Image

Tell us something.: I'm a fiddler and, latterly, a fluter. I love the flute. I wish I'd always played it. I love the whistle as well. I'm blessed in having really lovely instruments for all of my musical interests.

FS essentially means Want You To Buy Because I No Longer Want (handily abbreviated as WYTBBINW). I occasionally read WTB posts because sometimes it's more fun to see what someone wants.

Get yourself a copy (just post a WTB thread, obviously) of Shel Silverstein's Uncle Shelby's ABZ Book; there's a handy coupon in it for a pony.
